BARENATE® P-300 is an advanced organically modified bentonite (organoclay) renowned for its exceptional thixotropic properties. It delivers superior low-shear viscosity, enabling efficient gelling and suspension control in oil-based systems. Compared to conventional organoclays, P-300 achieves anti-settling effects with reduced dosage, optimizing formulation costs.

Prevention of pigment/solid settling in sunscreens, foundations, and anhydrous formulations.
1.Dispersion Process:
Add the target oil phase to the mixer and begin agitation.
Gradually incorporate P-300 and mix for 4–5 minutes until homogeneous.
Introduce a polar activator (propylene carbonate or 95% ethanol) and continue mixing for 4–5 minutes.
2.Adjust P-300 dosage (0.5–2%) to achieve desired viscosity.
Polar Activator Ratio: 5–20% of P-300 weight.
Carton
Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Shelf life is 36 months if the original package is unopened and intact.
